This is Madea, also known as Mabel Simmons, losing her dispassionate (suitable neither the pre-eminent term nor the mould) in “Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes to Jail.” The only achievable reply to this puzzle — and I offer it with all respect, not wishing to wrinkle Ms. Simmons’s menacing feathers — is: If you can’t undergo the melodrama, then gross out of the Tyler Perry movie.
