Sorry to disappoint those getting their hopes up, but humanity does not end in Humanity’s End. Set several hundred years in the future, the film postulates that after colonizing other planets, the resulting isolation would be enough that humans would evolve into different species, and naturally those species would want to kill each other.
But wait, it’s not the advanced humans, the Konstrukts, who want to wipe out the Homo Sapiens. It’s a weird race called the Nephilim. With the help of the Konstrukts, who view themselves as superior, the Nephilim try to wipe out all of humanity (meaning the Homo Sapien humanity, not the Konstrukt humanity, who don’t help the clarity by looking exactly like each other). Sound confusing? And that’s not even the half of it.
